Event at Green Build Hub aims to support local innovators

The Enabling Innovators Workshop was aimed at local businesses who are currently or are looking to supply innovative products and services to the Construction Industry which help reduce energy consumption, improve energy efficiency, increase energy flexibility or provide low-carbon energy generation in buildings. The workshop provided information on how to overcome challenges and how to make the most of the opportunities in sustainable construction.

Guest speakers included BRE, Stephens Scown Solicitors and British Energy Saving Technology (BEST).

The workshop concluded with a roundtable discussion about what support attendees required and also a tour of the Green Build Hub, a BREEAM Outstanding building.

This was the first in a series of events focused on supporting CIOS Construction Industry for the entire supply chain, to promote sustainable construction and raise the bar on the delivery of energy efficient buildings through innovation.
