Panoramic Power monitoring system successfully installed at Tregerles Farm
The first PanPower monitoring system has been successfully installed at Tregerles Farm Estates Partnership this month (February 2018), which means that electricity usage can be monitored across the whole site. The wireless, self-powered sensors monitor the flow of electricity and deliver energy information to an online analytics platform.
The farm estate is home to three Cornish businesses, a family home, 4 permanent social house rentals, with plans to support a children's centre in the future.
This monitoring system is supplied through Centrica free of charge and the data collected will allow Mark from the University of Exeter to build a suggestive plan for how the farm estate can start to build a micro grid and significantly reduce its reliance on grid supplied electricity.
